When dear friends and relatives of mine choose not to get vaccinated and then die from COVID-19, I confess to having feelings of mixed emotion. Why didn’t they listen to the prophets?
When Martin Tanner failed to find something really sad in his and his ward members’ refusal to simply “follow the prophet,” I could see the usually dependable show was straying from what I understood to be the show’s mission of defending the Church.
When Kris Frederickson chose to use words like “bludgeon” and “haranguing,” I knew the civil tone usually employed on The Interpreter Radio Show was in need of attention.
And no, Mike, the First Presidency did not “suggest” the wearing of face masks. The word was “urge.” There is a big difference. Is it really necessary that we be “commanded in all things”?
