The Interpreter Foundation is pleased to announce that three new books are now available from The Interpreter Foundation and Eborn Books:
- Temple Insights (Eds. W. J. Hamblin and D. R. Seely)
- Ancient Temple Worship (Eds. M. B. Brown, J. M. Bradshaw, S. D. Ricks, J. S. Thompson)
- Textual and Comparative Explorations of 1 & 2 Enoch (Samuel Zinner)
Bret Eborn will have softcover copies of the two temple books (along with other publications) available for sale at the Temple on Mount Zion Conference on Saturday. A printout of the Zinner book will also be available, the softcover copies will not arrive in time.
Hardcover versions of the temple books are available for purchase online ($24.95)–they are currently being printed so current orders may take a few weeks to be fulfilled. Softcovers will be put online once the hardcovers sell out ($19.95). The Zinner book will be up online for sale before Saturday–it will only be available in softcover ($19.95).

Samuel Zinner’s book on 1 and 2 Enoch will be up on Amazon before Saturday.
The FairMormon Bookstore will also have all three books soon. They have usually offered these books at a discount.
A teaser chapter from Samuel Zinner’s book discussing Enoch parallels with 1 Nephi and the book of Moses (among other things) will be published on Friday in the Interpreter journal and on the website.
Margaret Barker has said about the book:
“This is a glimpse of the future of Enoch studies. I could not put the book down. Zinner scrutinizes the work of several scholars. He finds traces of them not only in the Bible, Apocrypha and Pseudepigrapha, but also in Mandaean texts, the Quran, the Zohar and the Scriptures of the Latter-day Saints. Each essay is a gem.” (Margaret Barker, former President of the Societybackground of the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament)
FairMormon has one review posted on the Zinner Enoch book by Colby Townsend: http://blog.fairmormon.org/2014/10/21/book-review-a-non-lds-approach-to-enoch-for-an-lds-audience-samuel-zinners-textual-and-comparative-explorations-in-1-2-enoch/
Colby’s concluding paragraph reads:
“With the combination of Zinner’ssuch as Hugh Nibley and Margaret Barker will find a welcome home in this book, and the time they spend in its study that will be richly rewarded.”
