Hey, Spencer, thanks for the reference to Robert Boylan’s blog post. I chased it down and found it very enlightening. Like you, I have also seen critics hone in on how, in their view, we totally misinterpret/misunderstand the meaning of the sticks of Joseph and Judah in Ezekial 37. I think it’s good to reexamine our cultural understandings from time to time, and this appears to be a good candidate for rethinking.
But I mainly wanted you to know that just because your colleagues blew you off, not all the listeners did (insert smiley face here)!
