I realize that there are no doctrinal statements on Jesus being married during His mortality. There are at least 2 doctrinal statements that Jesus was married after His resurrection.
1) All exalted persons are married. Obviously because Jesus is exalted, He is married.
2) In 3 Ne. 12:48 Jesus says: Therefore I would that ye should be a perfect even as I, or your Father who is in heaven is perfect.
The “as I” shows that Jesus is “perfect,” and it is clear doctrine that one cannot be perfect without being sealed.
Now I will speculate, and I stress that what I will now say is speculation:
It’s interesting that the first person to see the resurrected Christ was NOT the chief apostle Peter, and was NOT Jesus’ mother Mary, but was Mary Magdalane. Who would take precedent over the chief apostle and Jesus’ mother? Jesus’ wife. I stress that this is speculation:
Also if Jesus had to be baptized to set an example, wouldn’t He have to been married to set an example? I stress that this is speculation:
It’s sad that in apostate Christianity God has no body and has no wife.
