As a scientist, it takes considerable courage to even mention ID. I enjoyed reading you article. Thank you. Merry Christmas and may peace be with you.
There are many good scientists emphasizing evidence of Intelligent Design (see: https://isgenesishistory.com ).
Excellent article! I firmly believe, as you say, that “in terms of a complete understanding of [many – perhaps all] spiritual matters, most of us are probably at the ‘you will get an owie’ stage.”
As someone has noted, when King Benjamin said “man doth not comprehend all the things which the Lord can comprehend” (Mosiah 4:9), he was saying man can’t even write the table of contents of what the Lord knows.
Great article and an important one. I have frequently expressed my personal belief that much of our initial post-mortal education will consist of learning how things really work, which I’m sure will involve a lot of ‘unlearning’ things that we thought we knew.
I frequently go back to King Benjamin’s admonition:
Believe in God; believe that he is, and that he created all things, both in heaven and in earth; believe that he has all wisdom, and all power, both in heaven and in earth; believe that man doth not comprehend all the things which the Lord can comprehend. (Mosiah 4:9)
Excellent! Thank you.
Steven, a well-written and informative article! Thanks so much.
